I have to post this because I just crushed the number 1. For some of you that may be no big deal, but it is too me. Next goal is to get the number 2 by June before I go to Level II. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go to Ironmind.com and check out the grippers they have for sale. They are basically a way to strengthen your grip.
Since I have been using the grippers for 1 arm swings, snatches and presses, I have been able to press the 32k with no problems. Working on the 36k now. My deadlifts have become easier as well. I have not maxed out yet, but will shortly. My PR is 345 now using a conventional deadlift.
As Brett Jones says, you are only as strong as your grip.
Speaking of grip strength, my Saturday class just did 80 sets of Vo2 max. Women used a 12k and men a 16k. Congratulations to everyone for completing the protocol. SSST is coming soon. T-shirts will be made for this event.
